It looks like the video card failure. Not sure if its relevant, but when I was cleaning I found a small spot of what looked like corrosion on the motherboard and I cleaned it off with a little bit of alcohol.

Is the cable one on the left going from the power button to the motherboard also passing sound? Probably failed video card. Check connection between the video cable and motherboard.

I use Seatools utility from Seagate site for testing hard drive.

I already reseated both RAM chips yp to no avail…. Does the mouse button pop out like a keyboard button or is it totally different?

Video failure is a known issue with dv series. Try the above mentioned fix from Microsoft. My Hp dv just stopped working one morning. What did you try to do? Proceed at your own risk. Test the laptop after that.
