The M can do it all! All said, I would recommend this as a present for anyone and for yourself as well.
The tiny wireless receiver stays in your laptop, s I intended to use this primarily for CAD work. With up to 18 months of use from a single AA, you might just forget your trackball uses batteries at all. This mouse offers a built-in scroll wheel for speedy navigation through documents and websites, as well as back and forward buttons. I was so impressed I went back and order the logitech K solar powered key board for mac and I'm just as impressed with this purchased also.

At first I was feeling disappointed trackbalp this mouse the responsiveness between the trackball and the mouse was not consistent; going right was smooth and fast but going left was very slow.
